About The Cedars Ministry

Who We Are

About The Cedars Ministry

A Scripture-rooted, prayer-centered ministry anchored in Isaiah 61, called to healing, restoration, intercession, and compassionate outreach across nations.

Why “The Cedars”

A Name Rooted in Scripture

The name Cedars comes directly from Isaiah 61:3: “that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

The cedar tree is one of the most enduring and majestic in all of creation, known for its strength, depth of root, and longevity. In Scripture it represents stability, righteousness, and the glory of God displayed through His people.

We carry this name as a declaration: we are planted by God, rooted in His Word, sustained by prayer, and called to stand for His glory in every season.

Strength

Cedars are among the most enduring trees in creation, a symbol of spiritual strength that does not waver under pressure.

Deep Roots

Like the cedar's deep root system, this ministry is anchored in Scripture, sustained by prayer, and not easily shaken.

Righteousness

The cedar represents those planted by God for His glory, people who bear fruit, offer shade, and stand tall in the Lord.

Endurance

Cedars weather every season. This ministry is built for the long haul, faithful, persistent, and consecrated to God's purposes.

Our Foundation

The Isaiah 61 Mandate

The entire ministry is rooted in Isaiah 61, with particular emphasis on verses 1–3, while embracing the full chapter as our spiritual compass. This mandate shapes everything we do: how we pray, who we serve, and where we go.

Isaiah 61:1

Proclaim Liberty to the Captives

We carry the message of spiritual freedom, breaking chains through intercession, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 61:1

Heal the Brokenhearted

We stand alongside those in pain, offering spiritual support and compassionate presence as instruments of God's healing.

Isaiah 61:2

Comfort Those Who Mourn

In times of grief and loss, we come alongside communities and individuals with the comfort of Scripture and practical care.

Isaiah 61:3–4

Rebuild Ruined Places

Outreach is the hands of prayer made visible. We participate in restoring communities through tangible service and compassion.

Isaiah 61:3

Establish Trees of Righteousness

We raise up people rooted in God's Word, intercessors and servants who reflect His righteousness and display His glory.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

Isaiah 61:1

How We Function

Two Inseparable Expressions

I

Prayer

The Foundation

Prayer is not a program. It is the heartbeat of The Cedars Ministry. Everything we do flows from the altar. We cultivate intercession, fasting, and spiritual discipline as the source from which all ministry expression flows.

“Everything flows from the altar.”

II

Outreach

The Expression

Outreach is the hands of prayer made visible. We do not only pray for restoration. We participate in it. Through tangible acts of compassion, we serve communities across multiple nations as a living extension of our intercession.

“Prayer is the foundation. Outreach is the expression.”

Our Vision

What We Are Building

The vision of The Cedars Ministry is to cultivate a people who are deeply rooted in prayer and committed to the work of restoration. This includes reviving prayer altars in homes, raising intercessors who stand in the gap for others, encouraging disciplined spiritual lives, and strengthening believers through scripture and prayer. As the ministry grows, we also seek to encourage territorial prayer through prayer walks and prayer drives, while continuing to extend compassion and service to communities through outreach initiatives.

Our Mission

How We Serve

The mission of The Cedars Ministry is to cultivate disciplined lives of prayer, raise intercessors who stand in the gap, and participate in restoration through compassionate outreach.

Through prayer we seek spiritual renewal and alignment with God's purposes. Through outreach we seek to encourage, support, and restore communities through practical expressions of care and service.

“They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”

Isaiah 61:4

Relationships

Ministry Partners

The Cedars Ministry values meaningful partnerships with other ministries, churches, and organisations connected to the broader mission of healing, restoration, and prayer. These relationships are broader ministry connections, not limited to specific outreach locations, and reflect a shared heart for kingdom work.

We are open to partnership with individuals, churches, and organisations who share a heart for intercession, restoration, and compassionate outreach. If you sense a connection with this mandate, we would love to hear from you.
